Bec Zacher Gold Coast MATERNITY & NEWBORN photographer

I was booked to capture the birth of Alysha and Jake’s little boy in January this year but bubba had other plans and decided to arrive a few weeks early on Christmas Day. As I wasn’t able to make the birth in time after a super speedy delivery, we locked in a summer sunset session instead.

I usually hold newborn photography sessions in-home but when the weather is warm and the wind is still, it’s beautiful to be able to venture outdoors and do an outdoor session. The Gold Coast weather is amaizng during the warmer months for an outdoor newborn photography session!

Sometimes the most unassuming places make for the most magical locations for a shoot! This spot here was exactly that! This was a hill beside a car park that doesn’t look like much at all but I saw the potential in it and knew it would be perfect for our session and my gosh it didn’t disappoint!

Anyone would think we were in a Tuscan meadow at sunset instead of a mound of dirt beside a busy road. When it comes to locations for a session, I will always give you ideas and options for places that I know will work really well and be something a little different to the normal go-to spots.

If you would like your own family journey preserved, head over here to check out all the details.

This session has been edited in full with my Story Keeper presets. If you’re a photographer, check them out!
