What happens if it’s raining on the session day?

I shoot outdoor sessions in any kind of weather except the rain so I’ll make a call on the session day about rescheduling the session if the rain has set in.

What happens if we get sick?

If you or your little ones are sick on the day of the session, I will happily reschedule for another day. Same goes for me, if I’m not well I’ll let you know asap and we will find another date. I’ll never turn up to a session unwell especially if you have a newborn bubba. There is no fee to reschedule your session.

Do you offer payment plans?

I understand that it can be a big outlay at one time for a family session. With this in mind, I offer payment plans where the session fee is broken down into 4 payments or a custom plan can be set up.

What times do you hold your sessions?

For outdoor sessions, I love shooting at dusk during the golden hour (one hour before sunset). The light is incredible at this time of day and much of my outdoor portfolio has been shot during this time. I also offer sunrise sessions for the early birds out there. For my outdoor family sessions, I hold them on the weekends and mid-week during the summer months.

For in-home sessions, these are held mostly during weekdays (between 9-12 pm). These sessions are perfect for newborn sessions, or in-home motherhood and family shoots.

I have a fun idea for my session, can we do that?

I love coming up with new ideas for sessions and getting adventurous with locations, wardrobe or anything that you have in mind. Your session definitely doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s. Your family session can be based around activities you love to do or places you love to explore, you can jump in the ocean, strip off, dress up, whatever it is, I’m super open to creating a fun and intimate session that feels just like you. I’m always up for new concepts and ideas so make sure you run them by me if you have something in mind.

We are awkward in front of the camera and don’t love posing. Any tips?

My sessions are fun and relaxed. I’ll guide you every step of the way and give you gentle direction and prompts throughout so you never feel stuck or unsure of what to do. Focusing on having a fun family hour of play and connection is where the very best images are made. I tailor every session around what you love to do as a family and shoot in locations you will feel the most comfortable.
